There is a very good blog just released by Ken Schwaber on this subject which pretty much sums up my thoughts on the subject. I don't want to be a naysayer - anything that improves the project management field is of interest to me and I think Ken is spot on the money with the first sentence in the last paragraph: "How PMI bridges the profound difference in philosophy, thinking, leadership and management between its traditional predictive approach and the new agile empirical approach will be fascinating to watch".

I will try to lend my support at a branch level and am happy to chip in where I can add value, however it is the mindset shift and how this is going to be managed that concerns me :-)

Has the "Agile Certification Examination Content Outline" been published yet? If so, where is it available?

@ Wayne Mack:

Yes, it has: please see pmi.org/agile. It is available from the resources area on the right side.
